By It was a massive turnout for Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun(AMA) as he officially flags-off campaign to represent Ikorodu Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, today at Alajede of Ijede Palace.
Present at the flag-off were all the candidates representing Ikorodu division in the forthcoming general election, starting from Senator Tokunbo Abiru representing Lagos East Senatorial district, Hon. Babajimi Benson representing Ikorodu federal constituency, Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan representing Ikorodu constituency 1 at the House of Assembly and Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun himself, representing Ikorodu constituency 2 House of Assembly.
The flag-off ceremonies also had in attendance majority of all the APC Leaders in the Ikorodu division amongst which were the former Deputy Governor of Lagos state, Abiodun Ogunleye, former commissioner for Agric. Asipa Kaoli Olusanaya, GAC members, Chief Olorunfunmi Basorun, former minister of works Sen. Adeseye Ogunlewe and Sen. Tokunbo Abiru.
Speaking at the event, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, in his speech urged the people of Ikorodu constituency 2 to move out massively to vote for all the APC candidates representing the Ikorodu division both at the state level and the federal level.
The Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba used the avenue to canvas electorates to support and vote for all APC candidates and make sure that their vote is the highest in the Ikorodu division.
Hon. Babajimi Benson and Sen. Mukahi Tokunbo Abiru also urged the Ikorodu division to vote for all APC candidates, starting from the President, Governor, Senator, House of Representatives and Lagos State House of Assembly both at the Ikorodu constituency 1 & 2 and make sure that their vote is the highest at the state level.
The Ikorodu Constituency 2 candidate of the ruling party, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun, in his well-received speech, appreciated everyone present, starting from all the APC leaders in the Ikorodu division, the senator, the house of representative, All the local government and LCDA chairmen in the Ikorodu division, and most important Ijede LCDA chairman Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba who hosted them today and recognises the presence of Arewas and everyone present at the flag-off.
He went further to call on everyone to move out massively to vote for all APC representatives and make sure that the Ikorodu division’s vote is the highest in the forthcoming election.
In his speech, he emphasized that he is committed to making members of the community smile with the slogan’,” With AMA, you will smile.”
