Ijede LCDA chair, Gbadebo-Alogba bags fresh nomination for Lagos Youth Awards

The Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba has been nominated for the second edition of the Lagos Youth Awards (LYA 2.0) tagged “The Disruptors”.

The Lagos Youth Awards is an initiative of BBN360, a thriving media company managed by young people and based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Gbadebo-Alogba was named in the “Most Outstanding Young Person in Governance” category. Others listed in the category include Rasaq Ibrahim Olalekan (Chairman, Coker Aguda LCDA), Jessica Abraham Oba (Leader, Ikorodu West LCDA) and Gbenga Abiola (Vice Chairman, Agege LGA).

Interestingly, this is the second time the Ijede council boss would be nominated for the aforementioned category.

Reacting to the development, Gbadebo-Alogba expressed excitement and appreciated the organisers of the Lagos Youth Awards for the recognition.

She said, “I’m delighted to hear of my back-to-back nomination for the prestigious Lagos Youth Awards. If anything, this recognition is an acknowledgement of our modest efforts to better the lives of the great people of Ijede LCDA.

“While I dedicate this honour to them, I wish to reiterate the commitment of our administration to bring forth good governance.”
