As the 2023 elections draw closer, the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba has canvassed the people of Ijede to turn out en masse and vote for all the candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Gbadebo-Alogba, who is the youngest local government chairman in Lagos state, today mobilised a throng of party faithful for a house-to-house rally to solicit votes for the APC.
The party’s candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Constituency II, Hon. Abiodun Moshood also joined the Executive Chairman as she led the campaign train from Igbodu junction inward Ijede round Egbin-Kingdom to the nooks and crannies of the council area.
Gbadebo-Alogba noted that the campaign was necessary and more crucial now to educate and remind the electorate the importance of electing Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Nigeria’s president on Saturday, February 25. For her, a victory for Asiwaju is a victory for Nigeria.
She further used the avenue to thank the residents of Ijede for keeping the peace in and around the LCDA since the inception of the campaign season.
While reiterating that Ijede remains peaceful as always, the Executive Chairman urged residents to remain calm and go about their lawful activities and duties ahead of the polls.
