In a heartfelt display of commitment to education, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, has undertaken a remarkable initiative named “Back to School Intervention.”
This program aims to support primary school pupils within the LCDA by providing essential educational materials.
Distributing these materials, including exercise books and school uniforms, was carried out meticulously, targeting six government primary schools in the LCDA.
The distribution occurred on Monday, September 25th and Tuesday, September 26th, benefiting schools such as Anglican Nursery and Primary School, Egbin Kingdom Primary School, Anwar Ul Islam Primary School, Methodist Nursery and Primary School, Community Nursery and Primary School, and Igbe-Ogunro Nursery and Primary School.
During a presentation at one of the schools, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba emphasized her administration’s unwavering commitment to removing financial barriers that hinder children from accessing education.
She expressed her belief in empowering these students to aspire to greatness and become future leaders.
The LCDA Chairman also revealed exciting news about the forthcoming graduation ceremony of vocational school students.
This initiative underscores the LCDA’s dedication to offering diverse educational opportunities to its residents.
The “Back to School Intervention” garnered praise from various quarters, including the Obateru of Egbin Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Akeem Oriyomi Oyebo, who commended Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba for her kind and impactful gesture.
