The Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu,Monday, appointed a new Commissioner of Police in Ondo state, Blackboxnigeria gathered.
The newly appointed Commissioner of Police, Bolaji Salami, until his appointment, served at the state’s police service Commission.
Salami was once a personal assistant to a one-time Inspector, Mr. Musuliu.A.K Smith, between 1999 and 2002.
He also headed the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Yaba, Lagos, as well as the Ikotoun Divisional Police.
Meanwhile, his predecessor, Mr Andie Undie, has been redeployed to the force headquarters, Abuja.
