Ighalo Late Minute Substitute As Man United Wallops Watford
Prolific Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo was a late substitute as top English side, Manchester United handed visitors Watford a painful defeat moments ago.
Ighalo who also debuted as a late substitute against Chelsea last Monday was brought in the 80thinute by the club’s manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer as his side easily earned 3points at home.
Since his loan move to the Premier League top flight club, Ighalo has gathered momentum from football lovers, especially those of Nigerian origin as most say the move was a dream come through for the former Super Eagles striker and many looking forward to Manchester United’s fixtures so as to see him play.
He again however came from the bench to have about 10 minutes of play as he joined the match that saw a defeated Watford. Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial and Jason Greenwood all scored a goal to secure victory at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Before now, Ighalo’s best playing days in England was with the defeated Watford where he netted a total of 90 goals.
