‘I felt she was out of my league so I friend-zoned myself’ – Nollywood actor, Ibrahim Sulaiman opens up on his relationship with Linda Ejiofor

Nigerian actor, Ibrahim Suleiman has revealed how he initially felt his wife and colleague in the movie industry, Ihuoma Linda Ejiofor was out of his league.

In a tweet on Thursday, the movie star said that he had no idea that Linda Ejiofor had feelings for him while they both starred in popular Nigerian TV series, Tinsel.

Suleiman disclosed that it took him months to even figure out the feeling was mutual, saying he friend-zoned himself because he thought she was out of his league.

“It took me monthsssss to realise that Ihuoma had feelings for me, because I was so sure she was out of my league. I even self-zoned myself as her homie,” he wrote.

The actor couple tied the knot in November 2018. Two years later, they welcomed their first child, Keon.

Last November, the duo marked their third wedding anniversary with emotional messages posted on their respective Instagram pages.
