President Bola Tinubu has expressed his absolute confidence in his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, who was appointed on June 14, 2023.
Tinubu said this on Monday, while addressing the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in Abuja.
“Perfection is that of God almighty, I have absolute confidence in the integrity of my Chief of Staff,” Tinubu said.
The President also warned that all malicious assumptions and rumours about his Chief of Staff should stop, as they are baseless and unfounded.
He said that Gbajabiamila has his full trust and support, and that he is working hard to deliver on the promises of his administration.
The Ministers and other cabinet members gave the Chief of Staff a standing ovation, as a sign of their solidarity and respect.
Femi Gbajabiamila became the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu on June 14, 2023.
He was previously the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria from 2019 to 2023.
He is a lawyer and politician who has served in the House of Representatives since 2003.
