Hunter Biden Found Guilty on Felony Charges in Firearm Acquisition Case

Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden( American President ), was found guilty on Tuesday of three felony charges stemming from his attempt to acquire a firearm in 2018 while battling addiction.

Despite pleading not guilty last October following an accusation by special counsel David Weiss, Biden was arraigned in Wilmington, Delaware, a city where his family holds longstanding influence.

This trial marks the first time the offspring of a sitting president has faced such legal scrutiny, let alone being convicted. The verdict comes shortly after former President Donald Trump was convicted on unrelated felony charges connected to a 2016 hush money payment, though many view that verdict as politically motivated and expect it to be challenged on appeal.

Hunter Biden now faces additional legal challenges, including a charge of tax fraud in California scheduled for September, carrying the weight of a convicted felon as he enters this next phase of legal proceedings.
