By How Over 1,500 Patients Are Left At Mercy Of 2 Doctors On Shift At General Hospital, Abuja
To the surprise of BlackBox Nigeria correspondent in Abuja, thousands of patients waiting at the General Hospital are left in pains as they stay on long queues with hope of seeing the Doctor for diagnosis.
According to an eye witness who was at the Hospital on Tuesday, he noted that the anomaly has been going on in the health facility for some months and the Minister of FCT is aware of the situation but has not done anything to savage it.
He disclosed that the Hospital which has minimum of 1,500 patients per day has only two Doctors on shift duty.
He said, “I can’t believe that a general hospital in FCT, Abuja with over 1,500 patients per day to attend to has just 2 doctors on shift. A staff lamented that the useless FCT Minister is fully aware of this conundrum but has since done nothing except chase after prostitutes.”
