How Nigerian celebs turned up for Femi Adebayo’s “King of Thieves” movie premiere

It was another milestone achievement for award-winning Yoruba Nollywood actor, Femi Adebayo as he premiered his latest movie, “King of Thieves” (Ageshinkole) on Sunday.

The star-studded event held at IMAX Cinemas, Lekki, Lagos was graced by the crème de la crème of the Nigerian entertainment scene and beyond.

The movie premiere was not void of surprises as a good number of Nollywood actors and celebrities turned up with breathtaking outfits in accordance with the dress code — “Epic and Dangerous” — indicated on the invitation cards.

Movie stars such as Iyabo Ojo, Adedimeji Lateef, Mercy Aigbe, Stan Eze, Omowunmi Dada, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, Dayo Amusa, Ronke Oshodi, Mr Macaroni, Jumoke Odetola, Woli Agba, Denrele, Eniola Ajao, Muyiwa Ademola, Wùnmi Toriola, Kunle Afod, Aisha Lawal, Ibrahim Yekini among others, were present to show off their African native styles for the red carpet of the event.

The excited Femi Adebayo also took to his verified Instagram page to appreciate everyone who took part in event and success of the movie.

He wrote, “AGẸSINKÓLÉ KING OF THIEVES! Last Night was Epic. Last Night was Dangerous. Last Night was a Miracle. Many thanks to everyone who obeyed the call of #KingOfThieves…April 8 in all Cinemas.”

Meanwhile, the movie, King of Thieves (Ageshinkole) is expected to begin showing in cinemas nationwide from April 8, 2022.
