How N3bn Land In Victoria Island Caused Fight In Oniru Royal Family
Fresh updates exclusively reaching BlackBox Nigeria has it that the son of the late Oba Idowu Abiodun Oniru, Prince Tijani Oniru and his siblings are fast converting properties belonging to the entire royal family for their personal gain.
A royal family source who exclusively spoke to BlackBox Nigeria on the condition of anonymity disclosed that the drama that ensued in the video making rounds online where Palace Security officials were seen assaulting the late Oba Oniru’s son was as a result of the altercation that happened at the site of a parcel of land belonging to the royal family.

The source revealed that the security officials had on the orders of Oba Gbolahan Lawal gone to place notice of ownership on some choice properties around Iru Land when they were confronted by Prince Tijani. He explained that Tijani destroyed the notice banner and even slapped one of the emissaries of Oba Lawal, which forced the security officials to chase him down to Millennium Estate, Lekki where the slap was returned, which video later circulated online.
BlackBox Nigeria reliably gathered that the land which caused the fracas is located near Shoprite, Victoria Island and valued to around N3bn. The source further disclosed that children of the late Oba Oniru because their father and grandfather were on throne in succession are already laying claims to properties that belong to the entire royal family as their own inheritance. The source also added that legitimate properties of the late Oniru will not be collected from the beneficiaries.
