Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has stirred excitement among fans after he announced a joint tour with fellow musician, Davido.
According to Wizkid, the tour will come after his ongoing More Love Less Ego (MLLE) tour.
“After my ‘MLLE (More Love, Less Ego)’ tour!! Davido and I going on tour! save your coins! I no wan hear pim,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday.
The announcement has caused great excitement among fans who turned to the comment section to express their feelings on how the speculated beef that the duo were claimed to have had come to an end and how much they anticipated seeing them perform jointly on a stage.
@tufab wrote, “Fc and 30 BG. MAKE una gather for group hug. No more fighting.”
@official_benexdancer also dropped his two cents. He said, “I know say as Davido no dey wizkid never get himself… industry boring.. no ginger and competition for am.. I love both of them scatter.”
@gidicribs also expressed his anticipation by saying he is ready to pay any amount for the show. He wrote, “I am willing and ready to pay any amount.. Charge me oo…”
Nigerian celebrity blogger, Tunde Ednut didn’t miss out on the action as he shared a photo of Davido’s reaction to Wizkid’s post and wrote, “DAVIDO has liked the post. I hope you know what that means. WHAT DOES THIS TELL YOU?? Tickets will be sold out in one day!!”
In the same vein, Big Brother Naija reality star, Frodd commented under the post “E go loud.”
Meanwhile, this is the second time the Afrobeat musicians would be sharing the stage together. Davido featured as a special guest in Wizkid’s 2017 December concert where he performed his hit song ‘FIA’.
