No fewer than 12 students of the Federal Government College, Ijaniki, Lagos State have been caught breaking out from school to have sex with female classmates in hotels.

The students, which included seven males and five females between the ages of 14 and 17, left the school by jumping over the fence and stayed out of the school for days to carry out their escapades.

According to The PUNCH, the act which had been ongoing for more than three sessions unnoticed was finally brought to light after a female classmate involved was impregnated.

It was also gathered that the students engaged in threesomes and heavy intake of hard drugs including codeine and molly and that some staff were aware of the atrocities.

“There is a possibility that some staff are also involved in the whole atrocities because how will a secondary school student leave the school environment for days without anyone noticing? Some of the staff are benefiting from it somehow,” an unidentified source said.

Reacting to the findings, some parents have blamed the school management for negligence and its failure to protect the boarding house students.
