Reports reaching BlackBox Nigeria has it that Benue State First Lady, Mrs Eunice Ortom may have come in contact with wide range of people days before test result shows she is positive to COVID19.

A source in Makurdi disclosed to BlackBox Nigeria that the First Lady was present at the programme of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Benue 1 Makurdi on Sunday. The source who on the condition of anonymity revealed that the First Lady was in company of her children during the service, met with the Pastor and some members of the church after the service.

It will be recalled that Mrs Ortom had on Friday released a press statement to announce her status to the dreadful coronavirus and added that she has been reaching out to people which she might have come in touch with recently. While going into isolation, the First Lady also advised persons she might have come in contact with to follow suit as the guidelines towards containing the spread of the virus.

The source added that the Governor, Samuel Ortom and his family are long time members of the RCCG Benue 1, Makurdi and has been attending the church even before he became the State Governor.

According to Friday reports of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Benue State recorded 32 fresh cases of COVID19, making it the highest since the first reported case in the State. So far, the State has recorded a total of 97 cases.
