How actress Ronke Oshodi Oke helped MC Oluomo snatch my wife — Lagos NURTW chair

Popular Nollywood actress, Ronke Ojo professionally known as Ronke Oshodi Oke has been called out for ‘helping’ the Chairman of the Lagos State Parks Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) in snatching the second wife of his known adversary, Fatai Adeshina (Akeweje).

Adeshina, who heads the Caretaker Committee of the Lagos NURTW following a crisis that rocked the union, made the allegations in a recent tell-all interview with The PUNCH where he broke his silence over his long-time rivalry with his embattled predecessor, Akinsanya.

BlackBox Nigeria had reported that Adeshina claimed he dropped his ambition to contest for Lagos NURTW Chairman in 2019, upon the intervention of a former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who backed MC Oluomo for the seat.

However, despite the promise that he would be compensated with the position of Deputy Chairman, he alleged that his name was struck out from the list of the executive members of the Lagos NURTW.

Narrating the wife snatching story, Akeweje said Ronke Oshodi Oke, a known associate of MC Oluomo, started visiting his residence to see his then second wife, Queen B, at a point.

Angered by the move, he said he warned the actress to stop coming to his house, accusing her of ‘trying to carry out a mission’. To his shock, Oshodi Oke again came to the house, forcing him to send both his wife and the actress that day, but to his surprise, the latter took his wife to MC Oluomo.

Adeshina further recalled how Akinsanya housed his wife at his hotel in the Oshodi area of Lagos for over a month before he bought her a house.

“Some concerned close allies at MC’s hotel in Oshodi phoned me that they saw my second wife at MC’s place. They asked whether MC and I had settled our issues, but I said we were yet to resolve our differences. They told me that MC had asked them to give my second wife a room in his hotel. She was there for one month and seven days in his hotel,” he said.

“Yes, my second wife, Queen B. She stayed in his hotel for one month and seven days before he bought her a house. Unionists in the state know this story very well.”

It would be recalled that MC Oluomo was suspended by the transport union’s national body over allegations of misconducts and insubordination in negation of the NURTW constitution.

Barely 24 hours after his suspension, Akinsanya was appointed to head the newly created Lagos State Parks Management Committee, a body established to oversee the affairs of the Lagos NURTW following a ban of the activities of the transport union in the state.
