How 22-year-old IDYL emerged winner of #TheVoiceNigeria
It was all pomp last night as Bayelsan born singer, IDYL got crowned as the winner of the Second edition of the The Voice Nigeria.
The 22-year-old real names Daniel Diongoni saw off stiff competition from other contestants to emerge winner carting away a brand new SUV, a mouthwatering record deal and an all expense paid luxury trip to Dubai.
IDYL who was coached by fellow Bayelsan, Timi Dakolo went head to head with Ebube in the grand finale afterwhich he delivered a grand rendition of John Legend’s “This Time” which earned him the crown as the winner of the Second edition of the reality music show.
In a tear dripping moment, IDYL gave an emotional speech about coming from the streets but never gave up on his dreams.
‘I come from the streets, never give up on your dreams. It doesn’t matter where you come from, you can be anything, just believe God and put in hardwork.
