By Hit-and-Run: Man Flees Scene After Fatally Striking Pedestrian

A yet-to-be-identified man is on the run after fatally striking a lady on the BRT lane and callously driving away from the scene.
The incident occurred on 30th January,2024 when the victim, a pedestrian, was navigating the BRT lane.
In a video posted by Abiona Samuel, An eyewitness, a fellow road user, promptly raised the alarm, providing crucial details about the incident.
The vehicle’s license plate, identified as LSD-700-ER, though wasn’t certain of the exact plate number due to the blurry state of the plate number.
According to the eyewitness, the driver showed no remorse, fleeing the scene immediately after the collision.
The eyewitness, therefore, called out to the law enforcement agencies for assistance to nab the hit and run driver.
The incident has reignited discussions about road safety measures and the need for increased surveillance on busy routes to curb reckless driving.
Pedestrians and road users alike are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or accidents promptly.
