The excitement is building up as the organizers of the prestigious Headies Awards gear up for the 16th edition of the event, set to take place in Atlanta, United States of America.

In a recent press release, the list of performers for the highly anticipated event has been revealed, and it’s led by none other than the iconic American rap star and music mogul, Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy. 

This international sensation is all set to grace the stage and bring his unique energy to the Headies.

Joining Diddy are a constellation of Nigerian Afrobeats stars who have been making waves both locally and internationally. 

The lineup includes sensational talents like Asake, Ayra Starr, Fireboy, Blaqbonez, Johnny Drille, KCee, and Oxlade. 

These artists are expected to deliver electrifying performances, adding to the grandeur of the event.

In addition to the aforementioned artists, the stage will be lit up by the likes of Rema, Seyi Vibez, Spyro, Victony, and Wande Coal. 

However, the highlight of the evening will be the induction of the 63-year-old Senegalese music legend, Youssou Ndour, into the Headies Hall of Fame. 

This esteemed recognition is a tribute to his remarkable contributions and achievements in the world of music.

Meanwhile, the competition is fierce among rising Afrobeats stars who are vying for the coveted title of Rookie of the Year. 

Bayaani, Odumodu Blvck, Guchi, Eltee, and Khaid are all in the running for this prestigious accolade. 

However, the ultimate prize for the winner is particularly noteworthy – a two-bedroom solar-powered home in the upscale Lekki area.
