The competition which is in its 9th season houses mostly First Generation Colleges who were established before Nigeria gained her independent in 1960 and few private school brought into the competition to add to it’s glamour.

The highlight of the draws unarguable is in group A where two past champions are set to collide in the preliminary.

Group A of the pairing also houses other reputable teams such as Federal Science and technology College, Yaba, Hallifield School, Lekki, Avi cenna College, Ikeja and Apostolic grammar school, Ketu.

Defending champions King’s College were handed what pundits call a stroll in the park draw. A battle against Federal Government College, Ijanikin appear to be the only match that will give them a headache.
