In a statement made available to BlackBox Nigeria, Iwatan Lucky while wishing the consummate politician Happy Birthday said Ojo Federal Constituency deserves a better representation than the lame-duck that is currently representing the constituency.

“If you go to other federal constituencies in Lagos, the calibre of people they are pushing forward are those with the requisite experience and exposure to be able to facilitate projects and articulate the yearnings of the constituents not just somebody who sits and waits for salary.

“Ojo Liberation Movement is using the opportunity of Honourable Ogunyemi’s birthday today February 22, 2021, to declare that the group is ready to champion and partner with all well-meaning residents of Ojo to change the narrative. Ojo deserves better, Ojo deserves Lanre Ogunyemi in the House of Representatives come 2023, ” Iwatan said.

Ogunyemi, a former two-term member of Lagos State house of Assembly has a track record of service since the start of the fourth Republic. He was former Secretary of the Lagos State Alliance for Democracy (AD) under Chairman Abiodun Ogunleye.

He is the principal coordinator for the mandate group in Ojo federal constituency, former PA to local government chairman late Evangelist Solomon Aina, and former PA to Deputy governor.

When elected, Ogunyemi has the pedigree to serve with humility, fidelity, and dignity.
