Video gamers all over the world have been gifted a bright start of a new week as the famous GTA is set to come back with a remastered edition by the end of the year.
Though Rockstar Games, GTA’s developer, is yet to unveil the official date of the new release, but a Polish Website PPE, earlier reported that the game should be available by December.
Titled Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy- Definitive Edition, the new game is a remaster of the three PlayStation 2 era GTA games. The game is to be initially available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4.
However, the game developer announced that the collection would be available across all modern platforms, including Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, later in 2021. Android and iOS versions will subsequently follow in the first half of 2022.
Meanwhile, a game industry insider, Tom Henderson, revealed that the trilogy is actually scheduled for a November release. Budgets to various marketing agencies, according to him, have been allocated and November 11 is the date penciled in.
“The GTA Trilogy is currently scheduled to be released November 11th.Budgets have been allocated to various agencies for this date,” he stated via his Twitter handle.
Henderson, according to Metro, has regularly proven to be a reliable source of information, having leaked numerous details about Battlefield 2042 before it was announced, but release dates are prone to likable change.
Moreover, there is a potential of removing the original three games from digital storefronts by Rockstar Games at some point this week. This will likely pave way for the availability of the remastered version before the year runs out.
GTA has been an action-packed game over decades. This remastered edition should definitely have more up its sleeves.
