By Governor Sanwo-Olu’s Chief Press Secretary, Gbenga Akosile Celebrates 20 Years of Marriage
For Mr Gboyega Akosile, the Chief Press Secretary to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, it is 20 years China celebration of marriage. For the uninitiated, Mr Akosile is celebrating 20 years of blessed matrimony and it is usually referred to as China just as 25 is Silver and 50 called golden.
While posting on his Facebook page, the CPS said he met his wife, Bukola Taiwo Akosile as a young reporter some 21 years ago and after a year of courtship, the young lovers decided to consummate the relationship.
Celebrating the relationship, he praised his wife for the uncommon courage she has exhibited in making the relationship survive through tough times.
“I met you some 21 years ago as a young reporter, with very lean resources. A year after, you agreed to go on what appeared like a bumpy ride with me. It truly turned out to be one. But as a dedicated, loyal and forward looking woman, you didn’t mind. You remained my co-driver, driving through the rough roads together with me. Today, 20 years after, your decision has brought nothing but joy. Our union has been blessed by Allah on all fronts. I salute your courage sweetheart.
I can’t wait to celebrate another 20 years with you, my God-chosen. I love and cherish you. Happy 20th wedding anniversary darling.🤩🤩❤❤💋, ” he wrote Facebook.
The CPS holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Performing Art from the University of Ilorin, a Master in Business Administration, MBA degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU and has worked in Channels, Cool FM and MINAJ Television in the past before joining the administration of Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
