By Governor Ambode Sacks Deji Tinubu As Lagos Sports Boss
The Governor of Lagos State, Akinwumi Ambode has relieved Mr Deji Tinubu of his position as the chairman of Lagos State Sports Commission.
Governor Ambode made the sweeping changes in the State’s Sports sector with new appointments and switching of portfolios.
Dr Kweku Tandoh, a former Director of Sports, Lagos State Sports Council has been appointed to replace Tinubu as Chairman of the Sports Commission just as Mr Babatunde Bank-Anthony was also appointed as the new Director General of the Commission.
Befroe now, Mr Anthony was the former Executive Secretary, Lagos State Sports Endowment Funds.
It is also understood that some changes have also been approved by Governor Ambode in the Board of Lagos State Sports Commission
