A gospel singer, who calls himself Onoja, has stunned his fans by arriving at his concert in a coffin.

Onoja, whose real name is Samuel Oguche, posted pictures of his bizarre act on his Facebook page on Friday. He said the event was called, ‘Funeral Service – Death Of Self.’

The pictures show Onoja lying in a coffin, which was carried by some men to the stage. He then got out of the coffin and started to sing.

He explained that the programme was meant to show the message of dying to self and living for Christ.

He wrote, “Thank you Jalingo City !!! So much overwhelmed by the testimonies we received after this Experience. We return all glory to God for the impact, transformed lives and many others. Welcome Once again to Funeral Service — Death of Self (Die Daily).”

The singer’s stunt has sparked different reactions from social media users. Some commended him for his creativity and courage, while others condemned him for being disrespectful and sensational.
