Ghanaian fraudster gets 33 months jail term in UK

One Emanuel Poku, 24, a Ghanaian has been arrested in UK and sentenced to 33 months in Prison for fraud.

Emmanuel scammed his victims, mostly on an industrial scale, by gaining access to their bank details via text message scam.

The suspect was caught with a device containing about 500, 000 phone numbers and 35, 000 bank card numbers, linked to more than £2m or reported losses on devices.

The convict was enjoying his holidays in Paris and Mexico, while driving luxurious cars and taking helicopter lessons before he was caught.
