The ATL signed by the NCAA Director-General, Musa Nuhu, will run for a period of five years, from June 3, 2022 to June 2, 2027.
It would be recalled that Nigeria Air was unveiled by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika in July 2018, at Farnborough Air Show in London. However, the airline’s take off was halted after whopping N1.2 billion was reportedly spent on its logo.
On Sunday, the Aviation Ministry announced that the proposed national carrier would receive an ATL from the NCAA on Monday.
In April, Nigeria Air had applied to the NCAA for a license to operate scheduled and non-scheduled passenger cargo services.
