The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja moments ago granted leader of the Indigenuous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu bail.
The Judge, Justice Binta Nyako granted Kanu bail on health grounds after which she said he will stand for his trials.
Present at the Court to support the secessionist is the Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose who flew into Abuja earlier today for the sitting.
Nnamdi Kanu is currently facing trial alongisde three other pro-Biafra agitators; Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the Court room witnessed a mild drama when former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode attempted to enter the room to show support for Kanu.
But the opposition figure was blocked by operatives of the Department of State Service on the grounds that the former Minister also had his case which was up for hearing in the next courtroom close to where Kanu was.
