The wait is almost over as Africa’s most anticipated and popular reality television show, Big Brother Naija is set to return to our screens for its 7th season.
For the last six seasons, Big Brother Naija has blown the minds of many Nigerians and equally produced reality stars who have found their calling in the entertainment industry.
The annual reality TV show, organised by Multichoice Nigeria, features the co-habitation of adults for a period of 90 days as they jostle for a grand prize alongside other ambassadorial deals.
The auditions for the show’s seventh season will commence in the coming days.
Popular Nigerian event anchor and ex-housemate, IK Osakioduwa revealed this while anchoring the 8th edition of the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards held in Lagos, on Saturday night.
“Get ready, Big Brother Naija season 7 applications are opening soon. You heard it here first cause I am your boy,” he said amid loud cheers from the excited audience.
Following the announcement, fans have taken to various social media platforms to expressed their excitement as they anticipate another dramatic and intriguing season of the much talked-about show.
Winner of the 2021 Big Brother Naija tagged ‘Shina Ya Eye’, Hazel Oyeze Oduenyi better known as White Money walked away with the N30 million cash prize and N60million worth of gift prizes.
The grand prize for the new season is, however, yet to be disclosed.
