#throwbacksunday
In 2014, I attended a Conversation for Change event with my predecessor in office and my good friend, Hon. Dayo Israel, the APC National Youth Leader. The event’s special guest was Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, GCON, who is currently our Vice President and was the APC’s Vice Presidential candidate at the time.
We were among the first group of young people to support and work assiduously for the APC from its founding, and we have constantly upheld the party’s ideals and those of its leaders.
I want to use this platform to encourage young people to stay the course and have faith in the ‘processes’. I’m urging you NOT to disdain the days of your humble beginnings.
For all of us and, if we are parents, our children, the ‘process’ is unique. It’s not uncommon for the ‘process’ to be challenging, discouraging, and painful. There are occasions when it entails opportunities and achievements. God’s ‘process’ is all of it, and if we trust him, we grow and learn from it.
Happy Sunday!
