The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) under the behest of the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Abba Kyari has come out in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 26th January 2019 to debunk the veracity of the news recently making the rounds that he has been transferred to another unit in the Police Force by the new Inspector General of Police.

Supercorp Kyari who took to his Facebook page to clear the air on his reported transfer, regarded the news as fake and asked the general public to disregard the report.
His Facebook Post reads:
Friends: I have been Busy today. Pls ignore the fake news that Abba Kyari has been Transferred out of IRT. Pls don’t believe every Document or Information you see on Social media, Many are False and fake.

Kyari popularly referred as ‘Nigeria’s Jack Bauer‘ due to his effort in bringing high-profile hoodlums and criminals to justice further posted pictures showing he still occupies the IRT office.
Right before he posted the pictures below, he wrote “This Pictures were Snapped 2.50am Today. Good Night friends.”
