The producer of the blockbuster film ‘King of Boys’, Kemi Adetiba, has announced the commencement of pre-production works for the movie third sequel.
Adetiba, who is a prolific Nollywood filmmaker made this announcement through her Instagram handle, displaying the flier of the much anticipated ‘King of Boys 3’.
According to her, new characters will be introduced, while a few old ones will be returning, maintaining that the KOB impact still remains the same.
She therefore said, “The new KOB (King of Boys) submission is ELEVATED in every way you could imagine.”

“Pre-production is officially on for KOB 3,.. and I’m so excited to start making the calls to new and some old cast and the crew needed to bring this ambitious vision to life,” she added.
Recall that in 2018, the first installment of the acclaimed ‘King of Boys’ was released, followed by the sequel titled ‘Return of the King’ in August 2021.
The initial part of the sequel revolves around the narrative of Alhaja Eniola Salami, a political matriarch portrayed by veteran actress Sola Sobowale.
The cast includes esteemed actors such as Nse Ikpe-Etim, Jide Kosoko, Adesua Etomi, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Efa Iwara, Deyemi, Toni Tones, Reminisce, Illbliss, Akin Lewis, and Osas Okanlawon.
Noteworthy appearances are also made by Titi Kuti, Keppy Ekpeyong, Bimbo Manuel, Sharon Ooja, Taiwo Ajayi-Lycett, and the renowned showbiz maverick Charlyboy.
It’s worth noting that the ‘King of Boys’ series holds the 13th position among the highest-grossing Nigerian movies of all time.
