Ex-NIS Boss Allegedly Dies After Intimacy in Abuja Hotel, Not Killed By Kidnappers, Says Police

In contrast to reports on media that the former Nigeria Immigration Service Comptroller General, David Parradang was killed by assailant after withdrawing his money, police statement revealed that ex-chief was found dead in his hotel room at Joy House Hotel in Abuja on March 4, 2025.

The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear, but the FCT police command has denied reports that he was trailed and killed by assailants after withdrawing money from a bank.

According to the statement released by FCT Command Spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, Parradang checked into the hotel around noon on March 3, 2025, and was later joined by a female guest.

The woman left the hotel around 4:00 p.m., and Parradang was found dead in his room the next morning by a military officer who had been searching for him.

The police are currently investigating the incident, and the hotel staff are cooperating with the authorities.

The body has been transferred to the National Hospital for further examination.
