The Enugu State neighborhood watch, have arrested one Ibrahim Musa; a notorious herder for stealing cows belonging to his fellow herders and in turn, accuse the locals as the ones stealing their cows in Uzo-Uwani local government area of Enugu state.

The alleged rustler was arrested on the 5th of June after he stole one of the cows belonging to his brother and subsequently sold it to meat sellers in the area.

Speaking with Blackboxnigeria, the suspect said he sold the cow which he said belong to his father (a claim we later discovered to be a lie) because the cow was sick. He also disclosed that he sold the cow at the cost of ₦28,000.

“i stole the cow to sell it because it was sick.” the suspect said.

When asked when he began to steal cow, he said; “I have been stealing since 2015.”

The owner of the cow who gave his name simply as Baluwa said, the suspect “Stole my cow 2 days ago and when we asked him after we discovered the cow was missing, he said the cow wasn’t feeling too well and that was why he sold it after killing and butchering it.

“But that isn’t true because we later discovered that he brought the buyers to where the cows were camped and presented himself as the owner, after they failed to agree on price, Ibrahim chased after them and pleading that they buy the cow.”
