By Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum have announced her intention to divorce her husband, Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
On Wednesday, July 17, Sheikha Mahra, daughter of Dubai’s current ruler, posted on her verified Instagram account, “Dear Husband, As you are engaged with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce.”
“I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you,” added Sheikha Mahra, 30, seemingly referencing the Islamic practice of triple talaq, where husbands can divorce their wives by saying “I divorce you” three times, “Take care. Your ex-wife,” she concluded her post.
Last year, she got married reported marriage to Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum who also a member of the Dubai ruling family, in a glamorous ceremony.
Sheikha Mahra is the daughter of the 75-year-old Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who also serves as vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
