Fans of Tobi Makinde received the assurance that they have not been neglected or abandoned by their super star. The celebrity recently took to his Facebook page to crave the indulgence of his followers for not usually responding to their chats on Facebook.
The Industy Street star explained to his fans that he is hardly active online because of the thousands of messages he gets daily.
Tobi explained, “OK so I need to make this official, please everyone, I usually do not respond to messages on Facebook messenger cos I’m hardly there. Reason is because there are over a thousand messages I find there every day and it’s difficult responding to all, so I don’t even go there most times.”
Tobi who not only boasts of a Bachelors degree, but also a Masters degree in Theatre Arts, both acquired from the University of Lagos while appreciating his fans appealed to them not to take offence as he does take some time out of his busy schedule to reply as much as he could.
“However, sometimes I dedicate some time to respond but it can never be enough compared to the volume of messages in my inbox.
In essence, I plead that no one should take offence when their messages don’t get replies. I’m sorry about it but this is as a result of these circumstances. I hereby apologize to my fans, family and friends for this whole inconsistency on my part.” He appealed.
Many of the younger generation still wonder who Tobi is but if you are a 90s kid then you definitely watched Kamsons and Neighbours every Saturday. And if you did, you sure remember Nathaniel Ibekwe, Lorietta Kamson’s neighbour cum friend who also happened to be in a bromance with her older brother, Ladi.
Tobi is still very much in the spotlight and if you are a dedicated follower of Scene One, you must have seen him on Jenifa’s Diary as Tinini as well as in the Industreet series.
