By Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has been called out by the auto dealer he bought a whip from after the cheque to clear the balance got bounced by his bankers.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Mr Anekwu Chika accepted the cheque of N7.4m from Davido as the balance of the white Mercedes Benz GLE450 he purchased from him on January, 2017.
In a letter addressed to Davido and copied to his billionaire father, Mr Adedeji Adeleke, the attorney of Mr Anekwu, W. K. Shittu gave an ultimatum of seven days to pay up or face the legal consequence of issuing a dud cheque.
As at the time of filing report, the management of the ‘If’ singer is yet to react to the story concerning the lawyer’s ultimatum.
This scandal of N7.4m is coming barely weeks after Davido released an hit track where he revealed that a certain 30bn was in the account.
