D’banj Released on bail, After 3 Days In Custody

Nigerian Musician, Daniel Oyebanjo better known as D’banj, has been released on bail After spending days in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practice Commission (ICPC).

Recall that D’banj has been in custody since Tuesday when he was arrested on allegation bothering of diversion of N-Power funds.

The N-Power is a scheme established by President Muhammadu Buhari to address the issues of youth unemployment and empowerment, and help increase social development.

The music star was said to have connived with some officials to divert monies meant for beneficiaries of the scheme, an allegation he denied through his lawyer.

However, after days of grilling, D’banj was granted bail as he was allowed to leave the commission’s headquarters on Friday after he fulfilled his bail condition.
