Days After Brother’s Death, Tijani Babangida’s One-year-old Son Also Dies Following Fatal Car Crash

Former Super Eagles striker, Tijani Babangida has lost his one-year-old son to the fatal accident that also claimed the life of his younger brother, Ibrahim days ago.

BlackBox Nigeria had earlier reported of the fatal clash which killed Ibrahim on the spot.
It has now been revealed that the crash which also had the footballer’s nuclear family has now led to the death of his son, Fadil.

The ill-fated incident as earlier reported by BlackBox Nigeria occurred last Thursday as the family was travelling along the Kaduna-Zaria highway.
Asides the late Ibrahim and Fadil, also in the vehicle were Tijani Babangida’s wife, Maryam and their maid.

The death of Fadil Babangida was confirmed by Harrison Jalla, the Task Force Chairman of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria who made the disclosure on Sunday evening.
“Yes, he eventually lost the son, a on-year-old boy”, TheCable quoted Jalla to have disclosed.

It was further revealed that Banbangida’s wife is currently in intensive care unit of the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria as a result of a severe injury in her face which has caused her one of her eyes.
The maid also suffered a leg fracture.

BlackBox Nigeria has further learnt that amongst other well wishers, a team from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) paid a courtesy visit to the recuperating Babangida on Sunday while condoling with him on the loss of his son and brother.
