By Nigerian billionaire, Chief Adedeji Adeleke on Sunday prevented the burial of his elder brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke after he was confirmed dead at a private hospital in Oshogbo.
Being a practicing Muslim, the late Senator who is the first executive governor of Osun State was set to be buried according to Islamic rites but the billionaire prevented the ceremony from taking place.
BlackBox Nigeria can confirm that Senator Isiaka would have been buried on Sunday according to Islamic rites but the father of pop star, Davido demanded an autopsy.
The autopsy came as a result of calls from some quarters that the Osun West Senatorial District lawmaker was poisoned.
His burial has since been postponed, according to a family source. It is however expected to hold later on Monday after the emergency autopsy has been undertaken.
While Senator Adeleke was said to have died of heart failure, his appearance at two events a day earlier where he looked hail and hearty made many ask the question, what killed Senator Adeleke?
