Award-winning Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has finally taken delivery of his new Lamborghini car after clearance from the port.
The 29-year-old music star took to his Instagram story on Saturday to share a video of the luxury car being brought to his house in Banana Island. He wrote in his caption: “Welcome Home.”
BlackBox Nigeria had earlier reported that the DMW boss bought a luxury Lamborghini Aventador worth over N300,000,000 as an early Christmas gift for himself.
Davido had called for prayers for the country as he decried the amount he had to pay for the clearance.
“You don’t even wanna know how much I just paid to clear my Lambo. Pray for Nigeria…Jesus,” he tweeted early Wednesday.
As the self-styled Omo Baba Olowo lamented how much he coughed out to clear his Lamborghini, fans had tackled him for complaining while there were people who didn’t even have food to eat.
Meanwhile, his new set of wheels will join an already extensive garage of expensive cars, which include several models of Rolls Royce, Lamborghini Urus, among others.
