By Davido reacts to Grammy loss
Nigerian music star, David Adeleke better known as Davido has reacted to his loss at the just concluded Grammys. The ‘Unavailable’ crooner broke his silence last night by congratulating Tyla whom many describe as the singer’s albatross.
Davido took to X to congratulate the South African singer who defeated him to the Best African Music Performance award with her single, ‘Water’.
Davido wrote; “Congratulations on your win @Tyllaaaaaaa ! Big One for africa! Keep soaring!”
22 year old Tyla defeated Davido and other nominees to clinch her first Grammys thereby denying Davido his much anticipated win.
Tyla’s win has however continued to spark reactions among netizens with a renewed feud over the superiority of Nigeria’s Arlfrobeats and South Africa’s Amapiano.
