By Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has expressed frustration with an incident she endured on Saturday when thugs disrupted production as she was shooting a movie in Lagos.
This comes barely a month after another actress, Kemi Afolabi engaged Lagos area boys in a fight because they asked her for ‘settlement’ while she was filming on a movie location.
Funke Akindele was shooting somewhere around Awoyaya area of Lagos today when thugs showed up to demand for their settlement but apparently, the creator of Jenifa’s Diary was tired of paying.
She shared a very short video that does not tell the whole story on her gram and wrote, “I’m so fed up with these boys. We work so hard. God help us.”

Area boys have been known to show up on many movie movie locations around the country to demand for settlement from movie producers before they could be allowed to film in their ‘area’.
Omoni Oboli also captured one of such moment of struggle with Lagos area boys not too long ago as she called on the state government to come to movie producers’ aid.
