Creative Artist, Habeeb Andu To Commemorate Children’s Day With Art Fair In Lagos
Winner of 2017 ArtX Competition, Habeeb Andu, is set to commemorate this year’s Children’s Day with a free art interactive session with aspiring young artists in Lagos State.
According to statement made available to BlackBox Nigeria, the children will have the opportunity to meet with experienced artists and learn the rudiments of live interactive drawing and painting activities at the event.
“In commemoration of the Children’s Day celebration, Join Habeeb Andu of Child’s Play Studio at Fun City, Ikorodu on May 27th, 2018 to meet with experienced artists and learn the rudiments of live interactive drawing and painting activities.
“It is entry free and promises to be entertaining and refreshing for children within 5 and 15 years of age, ” the creative artist said.
Habeeb Andu who is from Lagos state, had his early education in Lagos before moving to Auchi Polytechnic where he did is National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND).
Habeeb has been practising as a full time professional studio artist in Lagos since 2013 and won the ArtX prize for his creative work titled ‘Blacklist (Candle Night)’.
He is one of the young contemporary artists whose works have been included in auctions across Nigeria.
The interactive session will be managed by Rele Art Gallery and supported by Lagos State Government and Ragolis Water.
