Conference 57 CPSs chair vows to sell property to support Sanwo-Olu’s re-election bid

In what may be a considered a rare show of loyalty, the Chairman of Conference 57 Chief Press Secretaries (CPS) in Lagos State, Ayodele Ayeyemi has announced his intention to sell off his property worth N11m and use the proceeds to support the re-election bid of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

It would be recalled that the governor had purchased his nomination forms after securing the approval of the Governance Advisory Council — the highest decision making body of the Lagos APC.

Speaking recently at the launch of Conference 57 TV, Ayeyemi who is the leader of all grassroots media aides across the 57 Local Government Areas {LGA} and Local Council Development Areas {LCDA} in Lagos, declared their full support to Sanwo-Olu who is seeking a second term in office.

“Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has demonstrated remarkable commitment to the creative growth and economic development of youths in Lagos State,” he said.

The Conference 57 CPSs boss boasted that the governor will not only bag the endorsement of youths to become the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress {APC}, but would go on to win the 2023 gubernatorial election in Lagos State.

Ayeyemi revealed that grassroots media campaign activities are already in the works to support Sanwo-Olu’s re-election.

He added, “The association of Conference 57 CPS as a body has always projected activities of Mr. Governor ever since 2019, and we have deepened our commitment towards his second term coming as Lagos State Governor through strategic massive campaign in the grassroots.”
