Renowned comedian, Oghenekowhoyan Onaibe Desmond, popularly known as Destalker, has raised serious allegations against his senior counterparts, Basketmouth and Gordons, suggesting that they have actively impeded his progress within the comedy industry.

Destalker made these startling claims during a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu.

According to Destalker, he has faced numerous setbacks in securing support for his career advancement, with potential sponsors consistently advising him to seek the favor of Basketmouth and Gordons. This has left him perplexed, especially considering his impressive track record of winning the Best Comedian award for five consecutive years.

“I’ve been wondering how someone can win the Best Comedian award for five years running, yet struggle to secure sponsors for my shows,” he lamented. “I’ve written proposals, and some companies have expressed interest, only to tell me, ‘Let’s talk to your senior colleagues first.’ That’s been my dilemma.”

Destalker recounted a particular incident where someone approached him with a peculiar question: “What’s your connection with Basketmouth?” To which he responded with bewilderment, saying he had no connection whatsoever. The individual then suggested, “Well, you better go and beg him,” further fueling his suspicions.

Addressing rumors of employing mystical means for success, Destalker dismissed such claims, stating, “When Akpororo was at his peak, some believed he was using supernatural means. Everyone aspires to succeed, but do you know some people’s dreams involve ensuring your failure?”
