CHILD PORNOGRAPHY BUST: Canadian police rescues over 350 children, arrest 348

Over 350 children have been rescued as 348 adults have been arrested following an expansive international child pornography investigation in Canada.

The Canadian Police, while making the announcement, Thursday, said the investigation, a three-year project, named Project Spade, began when undercover officers with the Toronto Police Service Child Exploitation service made contact with a Toronto man allegedly sharing “extreme graphic images” of child sexual abuse in October, 2010, Chief William Blair, Toronto Police Service said at a press conference.

The Canadian Police added that their investigation revealed an entire child movie production and distribution company in Toronto operating through their website “azovfilms.com”

The police seized over 45 terabytes of data from the $4million business that distributed to over 50 countries, including Australia, Spain, Mexico, Greece and Sweeden.

The investigation also led to the arrest of 50 people in Ontario, 58 in Canada, 76 in the United States, and 164 internationally.

40 school teachers, 9 doctors and nurses, 6 law enforcement personnel, 9 pastors and priests, and 3 foster parents were also arrested.
