Chidinma makes acting debut in Yoruba movie

Zack Orji and Tina Mba play Chdinma’s parents in her debut

Award winning music star, Chidinma Ekile has made her movie debut in an upcoming epic Yoruba movie, ‘The Bridge’.
A movie about tribal clash, romance and love, ‘The Bridge’ tells the story of two lovers from different cultures. Chidinma plays the lead role of an Igbo medical doctor, Stella who falls in love with a Yoruba prince, Obadare played by October 1 actor, Demola Adedoyin.


Produced by Lasun Ray, the movie was directed by award winning filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan who also stared as Prince Obadare’s pilot colleague and friend.


The movie also features top thespians including Binta Ayo Mogaji, Zack Orji, Kunle Afolayan, Tina Mba, Adebayo Salami, Lere Paimo, Wole Olowomojuore, Lanre Hassan, Jimoh Aliu, Mama Ray-Eyiwumi and many others.
BlackBox Nigeria further gathered that the movie is a Bank of Industry sponsored project.
