Grammy-winning Nigerian sensation, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has achieved a remarkable milestone by matching Davido’s record for the highest-peaking African album on the Apple Music United States chart.

Previously, Davido held the record with his fourth studio album, ‘Timeless,’ which soared to the impressive position of Number 2 earlier this year.

Burna Boy’s latest album, ‘I Told Them,’ accomplished an extraordinary feat by reaching Number 2 on the US Apple Music chart thereby equalling Davido’s ‘Timeless’ as the most successful African project in the history of the chart.

In an equally impressive stride, ‘I Told Them’ seized the title of the highest-peaking African project on the European Apple Music Album chart, achieving this remarkable feat right from its debut at the number 2 spot.

Notably, Burna Boy’s accomplishment with ‘I Told Them’ outshines his previous achievement with his 2022 album, ‘Love, Damini,’ which peaked at Number 3.

This achievement solidifies Burna Boy’s position as a prominent figure in the global music landscape, showcasing his ability to captivate audiences across continents.
