Nigerian actor, Quadri Oyebamiji popularly known by his stage, ‘Sisi Quadri’, has been reported dead after a brief illness.
The 44-year old Osun born actor, known for his comedic roles and unforgettable performances passed away at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.
Survived by wife and four children, Quadri rose to fame through his iconic portrayal of comedic characters that endeared him to audiences across Nigeria.
Started his career as a make up artist in 2002, he rose to become a full time artist after featuring in ‘Seranko seniyan’ and ‘Ebudola’.
From his early appearances in children’s programs to his more recent roles in popular series like “Anikulapo,” Quadri’s presence on screen brought joy and laughter to viewers of all ages.
Details surrounding Quadri’s death remain unclear, with the cause of his passing yet to be confirmed.
However, reports of his sudden demise have sparked an outpouring of tributes and condolences from fans, fellow actors, and industry insiders.
